The definitive version of Michael Mann's now-revered classic
This blu-ray edition of Manhunter from Shout / Scream Factory is considered the definitive version of Michael Mann's film on home video. It includes two versions of the film and nearly all of the extras that have ever been produced to accompany the film (including newly-produced extras exclusive to this edition). The audio / video presentation of the film is spectacular, looking basically like a newly-produced film on modern, HD sets. The extras are fun and exhaustive. Unfortunately, this version of the film is now out of print. If you are a hardcore fan of Michael Mann or the Hannibal Lecter / Thomas Harris adaptations then it's a must-have.
