Technically-interesting 50's Sci-Fi B-movie, one of my favorites
One interesting thing about this is that the monsters are not living things, but rather an exotic and dangerous chemical process of extraterrestrial origin. Big, towering, mindless, menacing rocks. Relentless and unkillable. The other interesting thing about this movie are some technically-impressive low-budget special effects and miniature photography and some complex composite scenes that make it as interesting to watch as it is entertaining.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Spellbinding Thriller for Sci-Fi Buffs.
For the time this was produced, the special effects are great. The acting is top notch, I've always been a fan of Lola Albright since first seeing her in the Peter Gunn series, in this film she puts on a well acted performance along with all the other actors. In this film, the alien threat to our planet does not come from spacecrafts rather a totally different approach which makes this film a treasure.
