Good station let down by manual
Set itself up when plugged into the mains and batteries fitted. I've only had it a few hours but it does just what I want. Would have had 5 stars, but for the opaque instructions: incomplete, poor English, and some fuzzy images. (I also have the pdf version, and the jpg-type images don't have the resolution to be of much use.) I bought an extra remote and it caused me a lot of hassle to make it work. The answer was a little switch in the battery compartment that allows selection of the appropriate channel, but nowhere is it mentioned in the set-up section of the manual. To be fair, the suppliers responded in minutes to my message, even though their very brief advice wasn't helpful. Fortunately I found help on another forum.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Similar but more expensive than my previous one, works but very poor signal reception, Wont find time in most parts of the house, ended up in a bedroom then it worked, Cant use it in the position I require it as the old one did for many years. Excellent when mains powered, otherwise poor display and battery life
The Pros: 1:The weather station has an excellent display of weather, time , date and day ,with temperatures and humidity displayed for up to four different locations if you buy two more YC9312 sensors. 2: The Displays are colour coded, with temperatures in either Green , for acceptable, or Blue for Cold. Barometric pressure are Orange. 3: The Barometric pressure is also shown in hectopascals ( hPa). 4: Excellent when powered from the supplied mains adaptor, The Cons: 1: The battery life is poor, with the unit endlessly trying to save battery power by switching off.Always use with the supplied mains adaptor. 2: The SUN symbol is displayed , even pas midnight! 3: You will have to buy two other YC9312 external Sensors to exploit the full potential of this unit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great weather station does everything I wanted. One tiny niggle, when using the main display with batteries only, the display is not on all the time, only when you press the button on top and only visible for 10 seconds. Best weather station ever
Over quite a few years I have had a few weather stations, and, being a dedicated dog walker rely on them to give me an accurate forecast of the weather. I can honestly say that this one is the best one I have ever had. It sets itself up with the correct temperature and humidity and time, starting the minute you put the batteries in the outside sensor and plug the base unit in. It is in colour, a plus, and is very clear and easy to read. I am very impressed with it having had it for over a month now. Don't buy
Absolute junk. Very poor quality screen that is unreadable from across my home office. The previous black and white device by the same company in contrast is excellent. The only really good part is the remote device works well, even through decent thickness 1930s walls. Which is strange because it wont pick up the time radio signal unless placed in a window, but not 12 feet from the same window.
