Great except for one problem...
I bought two of these and considering this model is not a flagship model or cost I've found them to be feature rich, and terrific. Just one problem: overheating. On Duo or Signal calls the phone quickly overheats and I get a warning on the screen. I can smell hot plastic, and the phone is very hot to the touch. During other usages the phone is fine. I contacted tech support and they gave me a "fix" which does nothing. I checked online and it seems other users are having the same issue. This makes me worried about how long this phone is going to last. Until One Plus corrects this problem, I unfortunately cannot recommend this model. It's a shame. Otherwise this is a really nice phone that I'm very satisfied with. Also, it came with android 10, and considering this is a newer model, android 11 would have been better.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Review based on camera alone.
I bought it for the camera, which, is not bad. However, the software which processes the photos is nowhere near google pixel 2's capabilities. Its lenses are much better. On the whole, in most situations, I would say it takes slightly better pictures than google pixel 2. In low light, google wins hands down.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Replace a broken Samsung A71 5G
The one thing that made me decide to buy it , was the price. I was replacing a Samsung A71 5G, for which I pay $500. The price of One Plus was much lower, and it is a 5G. It was very easy to transfer my data to the One Plus. The only thing I noticed that it is NOT as GOOD as the Samsung is the 5G reception. Budget phone with near flagship performance
A really great phone for a fantastic price. The "pro" reviews for this phone are pretty good, but they complain about a plastic back and a slightly slower processor. I'm not sure what they're trying to do with a phone, but for me this phone is lightning fast, has a great screen, functions really smoothly, takes good photos and take a tiny bite out of the wallet.
