I rely on my wireless like the good old days of my childhood. Then it was a large wooden case sitting on cupboard in kitchen. The good thing about this product is its compact design. I have an old HI Fi system but, it is separate items with trailing wires. This product has a mains lead and telescopic aerial. It has DAB, FM radio and CD. Reception is good, obviously this depends on your location and where you place it in your home. Controls are easy to work out. A remote control including batteries. Sound is excellent. A really unexpected 'win' with this unit. Great Purchase.
Apart from the declared missing remote control - a replacement for which I found online at a reasonable price - I am delighted. The unit arrived the following day, well-packed, with all instructions. Certain functions can only be 'activated' by the remote control, hence my search to acquire one. I am currently compiling a USB-stick of MP3 tracks to use with the unit, and it can take up to 32GB (size) memory-sticks.... which should hold approximately 2000 ( two thousand ) mp3 tracks. For a smallish unit, the volume and bass-response is more than adequate, and programming pre-set radio stations on the DAB settings is very easy, just as switching 'stations' is simple too. Good value
I would warn that this is quite large but it probably needs to be to give a good speaker size. The sound quality is too strong on bass for my liking but the range is good. Love that you can pre programme the radio and select remotely and my wife likes the digital 'analogue' clock display. The unit isn't pretty and the digital display isn't attractive but it does most things well and is reasonably priced.
