Light, fast, solid and reliable. Everything I wanted from a new Mac.

Compact and extremely well built.
Very light and compact but packed with useful features, I'm still being surprised each time I use it. Everything about this computer oozes quality and the battery life is fantastic. I've always used PCs so struggled at first but as I've become used to using it I've slowly transferred everything from the PC to to my new Mac. I originally made the purchase as my hobby is photography and this was to be a dedicated laptop for this purpose but as I said slowly but surely I've added everything except my games to this and now use it all the time as my main computer. Am I happy ? Happy as Larry, whoever Larry is / was
My old 2013 macbook was getting tired, time for a new one. I know you can say all the apps and clutter were slowing the old one down, but no ! I have formatted it and just put back the essentials. This new M1 chip, O.M.G. it is fast. I do quite a bit with Photoshop, no spinning beachballs with the new one... It opens raw files with the snap of a finger... Would I recommend it ? YES, 101% Would I buy another one ? Oh yes, 101% Is it good quality, Yes, 101% Is it good value ? Now there in lies the real question here. OK Yes you can buy cheaper laptops, that do the same thing, per se, but I have always found apple products far superior in build quality, design & capability, and as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for" ! I don't drive a big fancy expensive luxury car, and probably wouldn't if I could afford one, but this is a luxury I allow myself, since we bought our first Apple Mac way back in 2011, we have never looked back. And no more Windoze PC's in this house, our whole system is Apple. So the question, Is it good value ? 2020 M1 MacBook Pro 13”
The 2020 M1 MacBook Pro is faster than any of its predecessors. Unlike its Intel equivalent, there is no heat generated whatsoever and no audible fan spin noise. It comes with the Touch Bar, some people like it some don’t, but for the work I do often it’s a great work accelerator. I recently switched from an Intel MacBook Pro to an M1 MacBook Pro and it’s been worth it.

M1 Mac is brilliant 
I was on the fens about buying an M1 MacBook. I saw the reviews and everyone was raving about them, now I own one I totally get it. The battery life is insane and the power of the chip is next level.
