Good Value At This Price
eBay is the place to buy this multi-tool. The magnetic closure of the P2 tools brings a premium price at a lot of stores. However, they are available at eBay for a lower cost. I bought this one to keep in my truck. It allows me to have a number of tools on hand when I am away from home, and it doesn't take up much room. If your plan is EDC, you may want to look at the P4 or Wave, since they have more tools, such as a hand saw. To me, the biggest weakness of the P2 is the combo blade. This issue, though, is not really an problem when the overal cost is about half of the other full-size multi-tools. Get it, a tremendously improved multitool
The magnetic feature vastly improves useability. My Leatherman Wave took a year to break in adequately. Out of the box, the Free shines, no more bent fingernails. While not bulky, it's heavy for its size, but the pocket clip is well executed and holds the P2 stable and secure. Opening the pliers one-handed was a gas and took the place of a fidget toy until the novelty wore off. Now, it's just a very useful feature, unlike the "ruler" blade... Love it!
I have several different model Leathermans, Gerbers, and SOG multi tools. I’m a Remodeling Contractor and the only one I ever used on a daily basis was my Leatherman Surge. I’ve owned it for about 9 years now and it’s hands down the best of the best! The only problem with the surge is it’s big and heavy, this new Leatherman is much lighter, sleeker, and even a little smaller than the Wave so it’s a perfect professional EDC multi tool. This model is missing the saw and serrated blade but if I need those I’d just grab my Surge. I really like the magnetic locking feature too. This is a very basic, high quality and conveniently small knife. The locking mechanism is a big plus and is an improvement over many older designs. The tools that are included are well-selected. My limited experience with it has been very positive. My new Every Day Carry

Left-handed compatible

I have 20 leathermans and.....
