Easy to assemble and spacious
I bought this cage for my Syrian hamster (he's a big lad !). It is easy to assemble and quite sturdy, I particularly like the ease of access from the top and the side. The platforms and ramps are well made and can be varied in height and position, and you can use both or just one, and it is very spacious. I have had a smaller cage of the same make, and that was very good, but I bought this one to facilitate a 12" hamster wheel, whereas, height wise, the other cage was just too small. No good for degus!!!
This is a nice cage but unfortunately one of our degus has just nibbled a hole in the plastic base, which obviously isn't thick enough or is too brittle for degus. We've now bought a cage with a metal base.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lovely cage
My hamster loves this cage, she didn't want to come out and play with me. Was worried it may be too big for her but it's fab. The wheel is too small so I am still using my fly wheel until I get a big wheel as I now have plenty of room for one. The opening at the top is great, the whole top is the lid, I won't use the side opening as I hear that some people say the openings get looser with use and I don't want any escapes. A great cage for a Syrian with lots of energy and loves climbing, also a good looking cage if you are using it in your living room.

Happy hamster
My hamster is totally loving her new cage, climbing & exploring. Only issues I had was the base was cracked on arrival and also one of the wheels- not a huge issue as not using the wheels and have just taped up the little corner that is cracked. First class hamster cage, very light and easy to build.
Excellent cage, plenty of room for my Syrian hamster. Really easy to put together and it was nice to see some instructions that made sense. Comes with shelves, ramps and accessories. What an excellent hamster cage for the money. Half the price of equivalent cages sold in our local garden/pet shop and on par or better in terms of quality. I love that the platforms are not made of plastic. Our hamster loves it and he's already exhibiting more natural behaviour than he did in his silly little Rotastak home. My Syrian hamster now lives in a mansion :) Perfect cage, and if you buy a few add in shelves from ebay, you can attach these to the empty spaces to make more use of the space rather than have just two levels. After looking around for the perfect cage for my Syrian hamster this one caught my eye due to the amount of space and platforms. There’s so much room to add fun activities for your little ball of fur. The levels are also very well designed and very sturdy! I got this cage for my (rather large) hamster and I've definitely found it to be worth the money. It's spacious and my hammy finds it a lot easier to move around.
