Last resort for the semiferal Bertie!
I use a spot on treatment from the vet for my other two cats, one a domestic moggie and the other a semiferal garden cat who will let me handle him when he feels like it. However, I cannot get near the other garden cat, Bertie, to treat him so buy these tablets and hide them in his food when he seems to be scratching a lot. Simple effective flea treatment for cats ... inexpensive too.
A small tablet easily concealed in a piece of chicken or cheese, eaten by the cat and all fleas on the cat are dead within a matter of hours. This treatment does not provide ongoing protection from further fleas but you could then apply a further flea protection product to the cat's coat on the next day. My cats just get a tablet once every two to three weeks in the flea season and then once a month in the cooler weather. This combined with daily grooming keeps on top of the flea problem. cheap and works well if used realisticly
