Great Tent.
A great, strong 4kg tent. Really pleased as it is big enough for two but without being too big. Access at both ends means that you can sort kit out when wet without getting the inside of the tent wet. Once unpegged the tent lifts off the ground in one and can be re-sited or dried very quickly and easily which was a surprise bonus. I bought it to sleep one with extra room for motorbike panniers and bike clothing/helmet etc. This tent is a perfect size for this. Good value strong tent
My main concern about buy8ng this tent after having used a terra nova ultra quasar was the external pole system, yes it means the inner stayrs dry when it rains when pitching, I was concerned about snow loading because of it. As luck would have it the beast from the east gave me a chance to text the tent to the extreme, set it up in the garden and it handled a good 4 inches of snow without any visible sagging of the tent. So will do for anything britain can through at it. Would iuse it in high altitudes? Probably not. But uk winter is a definate yes. I found the tent roomy and because of the black inner i slept really well as light levels were kept in check. I bougt this as i cannot afford a quasar and was worried i initially if it would do the job. Ot can, amd weigths in the same ball park as the origianl standard quasar. One thing i have done is bought alpkit titanium and alloy pegs for it as the supplied candy canes were big and weighed more than i was happy with, i also do not rate round pegs for holding it soft ground in high winds. The alpkit pegs are vee shaped and tri shaped and should keep the tent tethered in the condition i intend to use it in.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
