Powacaddy quality product very reliable
I've had several previous electric trolleys a hill billy (which was good) and sevral other cheaper less well known brans. The reason I decided on a Powacaddy was because you could get spare parts for it, where the other seemed to have built in obsolesant. I went originally for the Powacaddy classic, which i have used for 8 years on the same battery (and being retired i play 3 times a week). I have had one or two slight problems with the clamp that holds the bag rest tube in place and also bought a new tube, as the old one wore loose, but generally it hasn't let me down. I did treat myself to a new Lithium battery last year which makes the trolley lighter and more manouverable, but the old battery was still doing 18 holes.
I decided to get the newer model this year sut found the price rather daunting at about £400, so i looked for a second hand one on ebay and after a few failed attempts bought this Freeway 2. It was in fantastic condition and had been lightly used and I got it for under £150. It folds up so neatly and fits nicely in my boot. It assembles in seconds and is very stable and easy to use. I realise that you can get several brand new trolleys for a similar price, but I think that this would be a good investment.
