Good if you know how to use it!
I’ve only used this for biscuits and initially I was very annoyed that they weren’t coming out! After experimenting I’ve found it does make nice biscuits IF your biscuit dough is cold, you dispense them straight onto a metal baking tray (don’t use any baking parchment) and if a biscuit stays stuck to the disc, remove the dough with a knife then wipe the disc with a damp cloth. I keep a damp cloth close by to wipe it ever so often to allow the dough to come out and not get stuck. Also make sure to hold the gun to the tray when pressing the dough out. So far with this method I get mostly perfect biscuit shapes every time. To help keep the biscuit shape, put them in the fridge for 15-20 mins before baking. Not tried it for icing yet though anticipate needing to find a technique for that too. Arrived quickly and well boxed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

WARNING! NOT FOOD SAFE! - Leaves metal bits in the icing!!!
The parts grind on each other and leave metallic bits in the icing. I was left with a horrifying metallic after taste and MY THROAT WAS BURNING THE REST OF THE DAY! VERY WORRYING! Extra care was taken to clean every bit of the gun prior to use as well. Hopefully it won't affect mine and my partner's health but if it does, it may call for litigation as THE ITEM RECEIVED WAS NOT FOOD SAFE. -Leaves a metallic aftertaste and made our throats burn!!!!! -Leaves metallic bits in the food from grinding parts!! -The icing squirts out back and forwards -The back of the gun is near impossible to clean as it cannot be disassembled! -The item is of VERY cheap and poor manufacturing, all the metal parts have extremely roughly cut edges, VERY SHARP and grinds plastic and metal bits while using -Will easily cut yourself if not careful! -The end gets pushed when nearly empty and just pops out, ruining all your hardwork with the icing. Not fit for purpose but hardly an issue compared to not being foodsafe to begin with...

I used this item for icing, unfortunately the plunger has too much clearance in cylinder so icing squeezes passed plunger. Thickening mix does not help as it does not come out of nozzle. If plunger were a neater fit it would be a good machine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Serious about baking, then steer clear.
If your serious about making biscuits and cakes don’t buy this product, absolutely terrible design, every time I’ve used it either the nozzle end or the trigger end come off, very difficult to clean and watch out for the razor edge on the metal cylinder, very poorly made, would definitely not recommend it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
