Time Saver!!!
Should have bought a barrel cooler years ago! I've wasted so much time in load development waiting for barrels to cool down to protect the throat and maintain consistency. Searching around, I found this unit to be the best in performance vs. other brands. I simply run the cooler for 2 to 2.5 minutes in my chamber between shots. This maintains a very low barrel temperature...just enough to feel a little heat with your hand. This has been with thin barrels that are the worst for heating up quick. The battery went fairly quick using the cheap Panasonic that came with the unit. I expect my good Energizers will do much better. Very pleased!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works well
Tried this out yesterday. Worked well. Not a huge airflow but enough to make a big difference over just letting the rifle sit there.
