Excellent electric cart!
I didn’t buy this mower to use as a mower so much as to use as an electric cart to pull garden trailers with. I think it is somewhat underpowered as a mower, but I took the mower deck off and it makes an awesome electric cart!! No more fighting to start the gas engines when I stop and start frequently with trips around my couple if acres with utility wagons if some sort. Fir my purposes it is fabulous! Very happy with it. Making friends of neighbors

Quiet for a mower this size, comfortable, powerful.
This electric mower is very quiet when moving around for tasks other than mowing. As expected, the mower blade makes noise but it SHOULD. Still far less noisy than any gas riding mower. It is comfortable. It turns easily. It is extremely easy to use. It runs a long time on a charge. I love the "no maintenance" part and getting away from stinky gasoline, oil changes, tuneups... The only complaint is the relatively flimsy hitch ball bracket. I was able to fabricate a stiffener so I can use a receiver hitch carrying shelf on it and it hauls stuff around just fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

other than a flat tire, which I managed to fix myself, the owners guide does not tell you how to get the tire off. The first call to Ryobi, the guy gave me wrong directions, the second call to Ryobi, the guy gave me correct info, especially on how to get the cotter pin out. I have somewhat steep areas to mow and the mower is very safe downhill but a little scary uphill (must go fast, not slow). love the quiet and fast speed when not mowing!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The thought of not having to stop to get gas.
I little expensive for it's size but I feel it would be worth it. It goes well with my semi electric cars. I shopped around and this seems to be the best bet. So far.. It does not have lithium batteries which was somewhat disappointing but works well with the Golf cart style AGM batteries..So far it works well but won't know the full scope until this spring when the grass grows. I bought it out of season hoping to get the best deal. . Yes I get so tired of having to stop and drive a few miles for gas . The Tesla of Mowers
The best riding mower that I've experienced in 5 decades. The battery lasts longer than advertised. Battery replacement cost is not expensive and worth it since there is no maitenace required for electric mower. I drive a Tesla and could equate the Ryobi RY45111 with the same level of quality and performance in the mower world as Tesla is in the automotive world. Love at first try
This is a revolutionary mower. I've owned several gas-powered mowers and don't miss them at all. It's a relief to forego keeping gasoline and oil around, changing air filters and spark plugs, and worse, the inevitable times when they were hard to start. But most of all, I appreciate all the features and the exemplary performance of this mower. Best ever! Ryobi
I have cut seven foot weeds , blackberry briars, and grass. It is stronger than gas. More dependable and plenty of guts! Much better steering and the cruise control is wonderful. I got so tired of trying to start my chain saw that I bought electric. Great move! So when my Craftsman rider messed up, over and over, I bought this. Best thing I have ever done.
