  • Best scanner for the price

I bought this scanner to save myself from the costs of scanning and printing at my local camera store. And, it did just that! Obviously, the scans aren't going to be flatbed quality but for the price this really can't be beat. I really love that there's a brightness adjustment. I haven't used the color adjustment, so I won't say anything about it. And overall, this scanner is super easy to use; there's virtually no set up to do, and operation consists of moving the film forward and pushing a button. I would be comfortable printing images from this scanner at around 8" x 10". I think it could handle 13" x 17" prints as well if the image was sharp to begin with. My only complaints are that the mini USB cable that it came with didn't connect properly, so I had to use my own to get consistent power. Additionally, this scanner is super susceptible to collecting dust, so its sensor needs to be wiped off before each use. Not that big a deal though, it definitely doesn't make the product any less convenient all things considered.

  • Easy to set up and use. Good resolution and color.

Easy to set up and use. Good resolution and color. (Color adjustment, if needed, wasn't that easy and accurate, however.) My main issue with the scanner was that I bought it to scan a pile of old family 35 mm slides. There was no automated way to get the slides in and out. When I put them in, they tended to slide around a little, so sometimes I had to reinsert them. Sometimes it looked like maybe a little was getting cropped off the side(s).

  • A Neat Device to have for Photo Enthusiasts!

Nice product for digitizing film negatives. Easy to set up, and with the optional external 16 G SD drive that I installed (can accept up to 32 G), I can store many digitized photos. A handy device to have if you have lots of old negatives and moments you would like to recapture. If you have some older, faded, pictures that you still have the negatives for, here is your chance to redo them. With 14 G sensor and 22 G interpolation capability, 8x10's are easily produced with plenty of sharpness and clarity, and once you have the JPG file, you can post-process to your liking with the appropriate software. This is a really neat device!

  • Good for the price

This scanner is pretty small, and it supports most of mid to small formats. The USB power supply and SD card memory option make it wonderful for always bringing it with your camera and laptop so that you can immediately view the photo after you take it! Also a good preview device before developing your films!
