A good quality pump, as a fairly critical buyer I can recommend it.
I bought this pump having looked a various other ones listed on eBay and hoped it would be a better quality item than some of the similar items with mixed reviews. Having now used it, I can recommend it based on my personal experience. I had to transfer about 500 litres of Kerosene heating oil from an old tank to a new one and it did the job perfectly. The flow rate is good considering its size, but despite it taking quite some time the pump kept going without any degradation in flow over time. The screw on filter at the bottom kept out some of the crud that was lurking at the bottom of the old tank, but it is necessarily fairly course so don't expect it to do anything other than stop big bits - if you have a similar job to do my advice would be to make sure you don't let the pump go too close to the bottom of the old tank! You will also need to have some 19mm ID pipe to connect to the pump. Final comment, at 51mm the pump body is too large to fit into the neck of a standard 25 litre plastic Jerry can (48mm), so bear that in mind as it would be a bit more flexible use wise if it also came with an extra attachment for another 19mm pipe at the bottom.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
