    Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint.

    I have been buying and using Hammerite products for decades now. I don't find that their more recent products are as effective as their original ones. I haven't found this product to be any more effective at preventing further rusting than other similar well known products that I have used that cost half the price. It is a very expensive product that doesn't work well enough to justify its high price. I have found similar cheaper alternatives that are just as good. I have found that rubberised stone chip paint is better at rust prevention and much better value for money..

    Exalent all rounder inside items small to medium sized Dont try to put too much on though in one go!! or it will run n sag and you will get curtains in your finsh takes time to dry right through too so best to bear in mind before any rough handeling as in re,asembling things one has painted!! shake n wisk can well and for best results a warm ratel can always sprays best as stops spiting and one gets a nice even presher and paint finish as the contents get less too!! tease on in light coats and you will get an amazeing finsh tough and durable too and exalent wether protection too

    Does the job as well as any. It's all about the prep !!

    One of the best products for the price. I've painted motorcycle engines, frames, swingarms and forks with this for years. Also trailers, gates etc. And years later, they look good and are not corroding. It lasts really well if applied properly. Painting anything is 90% preparation and application. Bad reviews are from people who don't do the job correctly.
