JVC brilliant ! DAB/FM clock radio
What a lovely little clock radio!, very good looking, modern ! and fairly easy to use!...my only little gripe is i hate these little delicate bits of wire that comes out the back which is supposed to be the Antena !! i really miss the old proper metal telescopic ones they used to have on all radios !! much better looking ! OK but nothing special.

excellent for having at bedside at night
Im writing a helpful review because if you want a really loud boom box style radio this is NOT for you . However its' perfect for me because I like to have the volume very low and quiet for sleeping to ...and since its quite trebbley it sounds good at low volume but not at loud high volume ... its easy to use and works well .. Excellent radio alarm…I really can’t fault it.
This is an excellent clock radio and a total bargain too. It’s neat, tidy and unobtrusive when set up beside my bed. The time is easy to see if awoken during the night. The sound quality is crystal clear. Display is glaringly bright even on low setting
The display is terrible - even on the dimmest setting it blares out the light. I'm in my 50's and got my first clock radio when I was 15. As far as this being a object to sleep next too forget about it. I am beginning to wonder if the one I've been sent is broken because in the picture the display is mellow. However it definitely in not. If you want a clock radio without too much light avoid this. Just to add, you can turn the display off altogether but the point I'm making is that the display technology is cheap old technology Ione should expect to pay 9.99 for at best.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It is a good radio alarm clock . I found setting up the alarm a bit difficult as for me i was not sure whether the settings saved properly and took several attempts . The display could be larger and could do with an auto dimming . The sound ramps up slowly when the alarm radio goes off, which is good as it wont make you jump . Auto scanning and presets work well .
