Weleda-Calendula-Sensitive or damaged scalp?? Rebalancing nature after harsh brand shampoo/treatment..? Recommended by baby and I :)
I tried this after an extreme reaction to conventional Proctor & Gamble's Aussie Moist shampoo and the newly added ingredients. After not washing hair for 2 months plus as my scalp could only be bathed with cotton wool. I tried this and it's the nicest, most gentle thing I have found. Ideal for my toddlers cradle cap and dry scalp, trusting the kind ingredients. Also the silky and non greasy face cream is great for baby too. It has a slight scent and it makes her smell beautiful. This is all I have trusted on my scalp since chemical burns and boils, plus a cracked seeping, crusty scalp left by regular shampoo, turned me into trying organic and natural products. When you use anything on your body, so much is absorbed into your system. It affects your body's balance amongst environmental and pollutant bodies. Seems like a no brainer to get in touch with an old fashioned and well respected brand that couldn't be gentler, softer, easy to wash off without damaging skin. Lasts a long time due to real ingredients being present. Leaves hair and skin clean with no residue, but leaves a non hippy-alternative smell to skin and scalp. Not for sensitive skin...
I'd read quite a few good reviews about this product, for adults with itchy scalp so thought I'd try it. Unfortunately it still made me itch. When I checked the ingredients it does have alcohol in it so not as gentle as you would think.
