It really is LONGLASTING !
Having "put up with" the alternatives for years, I discovered this powder which has literally "changed me life". Instead of having to apply the alternatives at least three times a day - Wernets powder lasts ALL DAY! However for all-day wear I find that applying a GENEROUS amount to the denture is best and once inserted swirl coldest water round your mouth while firmly clenching the denture. Denture fixative
Reading the previous reviews it quoted that this fixative was the best. Well sorry i found this product absolutely useless. It did not do as it stated. Found this product by accident and very glad I did. The usual brands you can get over the counter did not help or were full of 'zinc' There is no taste with Wernets which is good, a great plus is it comes off easily 10/10. No longer the same, hoping the manufacturer will correct this.
This product which I have used for twenty four years is no longer the same , the last year or so, it seems as if they have altered the formula, I used to clean my dentures in the morning put the powder on and not again worry until the following morning which was wonderful, now it at least three times a day I have to re powder, and if I go out for the evening to eat or drink I have to take the whole container with me as I no longer feel confident that my dentures will now hold, I even have to re powder before I go to bed as I have always since having dentures slept with them in, things never change for the better. so sad.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Dearer than shops, but at least it's accessible
As a fairly new denture wearer, I was have great difficulty getting used to it. Someone recommended Wernets to me but I couldn't find it any where. It was more expensive to buy it on the Internet as it retails at £5 when you buy it in Boots, when they actually have it in stock!!!! Best denture fixture
I’ve tried many many denture creams which are ok but use slightly too much and it’s all over your mouth. Werner’s ultra is a powder, you put it onto wet dentures and there’s no leakage. I work 15hr shifts and my dentures are held firmly in place throughout. Word of advice, don’t apply the powder to the dentures over the sink because as soon as it hits water it turns to glue. I stand mine on a piece of kitchen roll and apply the powder and I make sure my hands are dry before I touch them. Excellent fixative
