Mongoose caught my eye!
Seems strong welds good, forks are better than you'd find at Walmart, cool for street but upgrade needed if you plan to hit jumps on the regular. They don't seem to preload well. Mabe I need a stiffer spring. I'm short. 5'4" Perfect frame set and geometry is comfy. Brakes work very well. Shifters are an ez adjust. Get one. best bike for your money at $299.00
excellent bike, very light weight, awesome front sr suntour v3 HLO forks. I upgraded the shifters, and new hydraulic disc brake system. its NOT a regular walmart or department store bike. these mongoose tyax's are upper end mongooses which to me this bike is comparable now to a 800$ bike! get one now they are being discontinued.
