  • Needed sent quick. Representative worked with me to facilitate.

Communication was excellent. Needed super fast arrival and paid extra to achieve. Item arrived as described and with the 8gb RAM requested installed. Already had a 64gb msata here. Bought this one to replace a dead pfSense firewall with this one. Only negative is... although it has great specs and support AES-NI, I am not getting the speeds I expected from 150gb service using 512 encryption. I was averaging 150+ with firewall but no encryption OR without the firewall. I get similar at 128bit (same as I was getting with a J1900 processor (remember, slower processor and no AES instruction... and with 4gb RAM). At 512 bit, I'm getting 40-45gb and as high as 50. Very disappointing. It seems ECS LIVA Z Mini PC might have been a better choice for pfSense. Look it up. Wish I could locate a vendor as it is NEW. Wish I went that way OR replaced exactly what I had OR bought something that performed better for the purpose and high encryption that was intended. NOT saying this Jetway is bad or anything, just not what I would have thought given its processor, its AES-NI support and the 8gb overkill on the RAM. I expected more when I upgraded from my previous QOTOM-Q190G4-S01 PC with J1900 processor.
