Tip: The UPVC block has a universal shape to it. The block can also be shaped if necessary by use of a craft knife or sharp wood chisel. UPVC Screws. The idea is that as the sash is forced onto this block the tapered wedge shape of it make it lift up into place so enabling the lock points to be forced into the correct position.
