Needs a greater foil radius
The razor is light and seems to be well made, but the foils are too narrow, making the cutting action too coarse on the skin and confined to the one narrow strip. You therefore need to go over the same area many times to get a smooth shave. It is particularly difficult to get a reasonable shave around the mouth, especially the upper lip. Great Shaver, Great value
What a shaver. For $99 it is a bargain. It cuts very well. I usually use Gillette Fusion and this shaves very close to that. I would recommend this highly. Much less irritation as I have sensitive skin. I can shave every day with this if I like, with razors I can only shave once every 3 days or I get massive irritation and shaving cuts. To maximise the comfort with this shaver, I wash my face with warm water fr 30 seconds, use some shaving gel and lather it up, then put the shaver blades under hot water to glide effortlessly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My excellent shaver - Panasonic 3 blade

While I cannot comment on the cost of the upcoming consumables that this shaver requires, I can say this unit which I purchased (at a heavy discount) works very well indeed. It is well designed & well built so I do not expect reliability problems. The shave is as good as any good shavers at this price range. If you are after a very close Samurai shave, stick to a good razor blade system. I have used mainly Braun shavers since 10 years ago but recently purchased one of these and all i can say is that it is much better than the Braun one as it gives much closer shave with less effort. Husband most pleased!

Powerful and good value

I like it but still won’t do what a regular blade does
