I have been using different types and makes of boat rods and this rod fits perfectly on to my wish-list. It is very light for a 30lbs power yet very strong and durable. This rod has been built with care and attention to finish as is all of ABU Garcias products have traditionally been. Light, yet powerful, this rod will probably be comfortable in exceeding its design class from time to time. Sensitivity is high so less bites are missed than with some rods I have used in the past.
