This Casio DBC-610 watch keeps time and functions as a stopwatch. Another feature is the ability to store names and phone numbers or even perform arithmetic, and you can do it all with no Wi-Fi connection and no data plan.The rectangular screen on this Casio watch has a black border and a digital display with black letters and numbers. When you are in the timekeeping mode, you see the hours, minutes, and seconds. Choose whether the display shows a 12-hour or 24-hour cycle. The watch also notes if it is a.m. or p.m. Along with this, the screen shows the day of the week, the date, the month, and the year. The calendar is automatic to the year 2099. That way, when it's in timekeeping mode, you see everything from the year to the second on the same digital screen at the same moment.Access various chronograph functions in the measuring mode. Your Casio watch keeps track of elapsed and split times. If you are timing two different participants, this watch registers first and second place. This Casio watch also has multifunction alarms. It alerts on the hour or at any specific time you set. If you input appointments to your schedule, the Casio Telememo beeps to let you know when they are coming up.Casio’s DBC610A-1A calculator watch has a chromed resin case. This gives it the classic appearance of stainless steel combined with the light, comfortable weight of the resin. The case is 44 millimeters wide with a rectangular window. The latch of the band can be repositioned along its length to fit a smaller or larger wrist.The databank memory of these Casio digital calculator wristwatches hold up to 50 pieces of data. It accepts names up to eight characters and 15-digit telephone numbers. It performs eight-digit arithmetic calculations and currency conversions. All data is input through the flat, 12-key keyboard that is just below the display. Use the keyboard to type in meetings and appointments that show on the screen with the date, time, and a short descriptive message.To make sure you always see the time and what is coming up on your schedule, these Casio watches have LED illumination. Pressing one of the side buttons produces a green light that goes off when you release the button. Stainless steel
The most comfortable watch I own! I put off buying a "calculator" Casio for the longest time as I wasn't a fan of plastic watches with resin bands, nor watches that lack any type of backlight. In comes my discovery that a stainless steel version exists! Fantastic and especially useful if you're climbing out of the smart phone club. Useful tool you want to have with you all the time.
This item is the third one of this model I've purchased since the early 1980s. I truly like these watches. The touch pad input doesn't wear out like the buttons on other models do. It does what I need and it does not require an encyclopedia of instructions and much maneuvering to set up the functions I like to use the most. It is not bulky and that is another huge plus. It would be nice if they added a back-lit system for viewing the face in dark situations. The current lighting on this model gives poor and uneven illumination. I keep purchasing new ones because the case eventually wears out but I wear it constantly so the over 10 years I get of of it makes it a good value. I give it 4 out of 5 stars but improving the back-lighting and improving the case would make it a 100% winner.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Just like the original watch I wore during the 1980s!
Beautiful watch, crisp lines, high tech style, very nice substantial clean feel, appears a bit smaller on the wrist than it looks in the picture. Way cool cutting edge technology in the 1980s & still cool now. Wear as a dress watch - not for wear while working on the car... The one I owned in the 80's lasted almost 7 years with daily wear. Vintage and stylish, love it!
A quick tip, just be careful when adjusting the band lockpick, as it's DIY, just need a small flat screwdriver, look for a video in YouTuber as it can easily break or dent and this is not listed in the manual.

Casio DBC-610A-1A Databank Calculator Watch
Much like my old black plastic case model that broke after many years where the wrist band connected. This new one seems to be much better constructed and has an air of being more durable. The functions work better and the lack of physical push buttons for the numbers and letters mean there is less likely to be a problem with dirt getting in and causing the buttons to stick. An Apple iWatch I Can Afford
This is my fourth DBC-610 and my sixth Casio Datamemo watch overall. Because I do remodeling and use tools much of the time, my timepiece must be VERY rugged. On average, I can make one last 3 to 4 years, and it does the same things one finds most useful in an Apple Watch - with no recharging. A great product by Casio. World Travel essential
I'm probably a Luddite, but I talk on my phone and check time on my watch. This particular watch is outstanding because I can put it on world time for my destination and not have to change the actual time setting. This is my third watch of this type and I hope it's the last, as they are getting hard to find.
