More Doc Martin!
Few people could get away with such a rude bedside manner as his, but Doc Martin can do so because he knows what he's talking about and is a first-class medic, just as long as there's no blood about! This, the fourth series, has all the usual ingredients that make this a great TV programme - but, sadly, this is the last in which we see of his often hard-pressed receptionist, Pauline, who finally reached her limit and went off to pastures new. Fortunately, she possessed a steely personality and a dry wit which even surprised the Doc on occasion, and she proved to be good at her job. With such a charming backdrop as the Cornish coast, the series has lots going for it, even if the Doc and Louisa are often at loggerheads, she being as quirky as he at times! Anyone who hasn't seen this programme should have a look, as it is genuinely good TV with plenty of dry humour along the way. Excellent stuff!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
