This technology focuses on the color spectrum unique to fading light. Because of this, you can experience improved transmission of colors in the violet and blue ranges. This allows you to stay out in the field longer and see further in dim lighting. The Diamondcoat 2 lens coating ensures that your view will stay clear and fresh. The edge-blackening technique equipped with this Leupold riflescope reduces glare in bright sunlight. The erector has twin springs with finite adjustments for the best precision possible. The eyepiece is fast focused, meaning you get quick adjustments during those critical moments before you hit your target. This eyepiece is lockable whenever necessary as well, for extra stability while shooting. This riflescope is also equipped with a generous 15-inch eye relief to ensure that you remain as safe as possible. This type of scope has been designed specifically for handguns. It can help boost your accuracy when aiming at targets thanks to its precise engineering. This Leupold riflescope is filled with both argon and krypton, providing it with waterproof and fog-proof protection. You can hunt with these scopes safely and effectively in many different weather conditions. Alongside this standard protection, this device is also shockproof for added durability during high recoil. When you need to adjust the optics for elevation or windage, adjustments of 110 MOA are provided. You can make each adjustment at a rate of 1/4 MOA, helping to ensure accuracy from any distance. The anodized aluminum alloy housing makes for a very durable casing for the scope. While this casing is durable and long-lasting, the device itself weighs just under 11 ounces. The turrets on this item are fixed and finger-operated. The exterior of this scope consists of a smooth matte finish. This is designed to keep reflections from bouncing off the device and alerting your prey. Towards the front of the item is a 24k gold ring. These rings are designed to emphasize style and sophistication.It's also equipped with a unique Duplex reticle. This type of reticle offers a second focal plane, four tapered posts, and a thin crosshair. Because of the heavy posts, this crosshair is readily visible even in twilight. With the inclusion of the second focal plane, your crosshair remains the same size when zooming as well. Great scope, at lower magnification levels
Overall a great handgun scope, perhaps the best. I would prefer a 2-6x range that maintained constant eye relief distance. PROS: It is clear, well made, great warranty, looks great on my SBH. CONS: At higher powers around 6X-8X the eye relief gets shorter and forces you to adjust your hold to compensate. A lot of money for that kind of compromise.
