It also provides a 3x to 9x magnification, which makes your shot easier to target, particularly from long range. The Nikon SlugHunter has a 5-inch eye relief and a 1-inch tube diameter. This is a substantial amount of eye relief that protects you even when using this riflescope with heavy-recoil guns. Your aiming benefits from the 44mm outside eyepiece diameter, which makes this scope a more comfortable fit. With its 92.5 percent light transmission and 13.3/4.4mm Exit Pupil, the Nikon SlugHunter 3-9x40 provides a brighter, clearer view through its scope. This scope is also equipped with multicoated optics for increased protection from the elements. This multicoating ensures that these rifle scopes are both waterproof and fog-proof so you are able to use the scopes in the early morning or while it's raining. This item is also fully shockproof for protection from sustained recoil when you're out hunting. The optic glass itself is resistant to scratches as well. The reticle found on this device is a standard BDC version. The BDC 200 uses several easy-to-see ballistic circles for instant aiming points. This open circle design was fashioned to make shooting smaller targets easier. It also assists with targets at a lengthier distance. There is a total of four ballistic circles that are made to optimize performance at different yardages. For making adjustments to the BDC 200, spring-loaded instant zero-reset turrets are available. By lifting the adjustment knob and turning it to zero, your sights are re-calibrated in an instant. 5 Inches Of Eye relief!

The perfect shot gun scope.
