This 4x32mm Rifle Scope consists of a Tritium Phosphor Lamp aiming reticle which glows in low-viewing situations, thereby enabling you to get hold of your target quickly. The Binding Aiming Concept (BAC) of this Trijicon gunsight offers use of both-eyes-open aiming method in combination with scope magnification sighting for quick target attainment in any light. The fiber optics of this 4x32mm Rifle Scope automatically alters the brightest level and contrast of the reticle to existing light conditions. 1980s US Marine 0311 Rifleman sold! on this Product!
I have always sworn by my iron sights! I have resisted change. I am a 1980s Marine Infantry Squadleader. and I pride myself in qualifying Expert. 4 years in a row. Iron sights! Well let me tell you! I placed my Acog on my Rifle and sighted it in at 100 yards per instructions. My 1st 20 rounds went in to a 6 in. circle! I did not even adjust the acog. The rounds went exactly where I wanted them. My 2nd 20 rounds went into a 4 in. circle! I was amazed! from then on it was lights out! I was picking small stones on the berm and nailing everyone of the. my last 30 rounds went into a 1 gallon paint can swinging from the target rack. I am sold! You get what you pay for.
Awesome product. Very similar model to the one I carried in the middle east so it has some sentimental value to me. The glass is crystal clear as you'd expect with a high quality optic. Adjustments are spot on and have a tactile feel. The ACOG can take plenty of abuse and still hold a zero. Great for all ranges if you know what you are doing. No equal
If you're even considering an ACOG then you've probably done enough research to know that nothing compares. I spent more than I needed to on mine because I kept buying lesser optics and returning them until I finally realized that the ACOG was what I should have bought all along. It's been my experience that just about anything made by Trijicon is worth the premium over other competitive products, but there is nothing this statement is truer for than the ACOG. If you're considering one, I highly recommend the one with the bosses for mounting an RMR, even if you don't have the money for it at the moment. No point in denying yourself the option further down the road. Only con I can think of: Just about any of the official mounting plates for the ACOG are large enough that they will interfere with left side-charging uppers, and possibly interfere with ejection when switched to the other side, so if you're building a side-charger, it's something to keep in mind.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Usually government contract items are lowest bidder, do the math right. The ACOG however has proven itself from the mountains of Afghanistan to the open areas of Iraq.
