powerful, lightweight, recharges super fast!
As a single woman, I'd struggled for years with a good brand (TroyBilt) gas trimmer. It needed expensive conditioning every spring even if the gas was drained from it over the winter. Picking it up, the shop owner would crank it right there in the store on first attempt, talk about what a great machine it was, etc., etc. I'd get home and couldn't start it. Took many attempts. Finally after 5 years fighting with it, I decided to buy a battery powered one. That was an education. Had to consider all kinds of things.This Husqvarna won every comparison. Line thickness, very long adjusted out shaft (I'm 5'8). Super fast battery charging - wish I'd noticed the time but it took less than an hour to recharge whole load - was somewhere in its last quarter charge. I have a double lot in town with beds front & back & around trees, sidewalk, long forked driveway, brick-pathed veg garden - and it does the whole yard without reaching empty!! Good product
This works well, uses Husqvarna's standard battery. The only thing I don't like is that it's a little difficult to hold it vertically, as in edging. Overall, much easier, not to mention quieter, than my gas trimmer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
