a little difficult to use.
The effects are as good if not better than the other brands that I have tried. Here are the shortcomings; the lettering on the controls is small. The controls do not have detent positions making it difficult to adjust in a low light environment . The LED on light is blinding making reading control positions very difficult. If you are going to use this on a gig, bring a flashlight. It is a good effect, with a little tweaking you can make a 12 string sound or duet type of leads.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Better than you might expect
Better than you might expect. This is a very decent clone of the Boss pitch shifter/harmonizer series. Duplicates all the important functionality. I find that the harmonizing functions "needs" at least 1.5amps available. Primarily to keep tracking faithful. Harmony is two voices max. Much inproved over older Ultra Shifer Models via New Algorithm
Behringer has improved the algorithm and the 2 part harmony is now much more realistic However the De-tune sound has lost most of the Stereo Spacial Air. I have 4 of these units dating from 2009 to 2014 and could instantly hear the difference. I compared all of them to a new 2016 and there really is a difference. So for me, it lost some of the spacial earlier De-tune Stereo from Mono separation but the pitch shift and Dual harmony features are greatly improved. I think your safe with any 2014 or older if the De-tune feature is what your looking for. FYI there is no comparison to any other Pitch Shift Pedal The Behringer US 600 is Number 1 from a clean quiet sound / value stand point, especially the most recent model standpoint.
