Whether you are channeling Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, or Carlos Santana, this delay pedal can help you rock out like a legend.The Ibanez DE-7 effects pedal can have delays that range anywhere from 30 to 2600 milliseconds, and you can select between three different sub-ranges including 30 to 160, 120 to 650, and 480 to 2600 milliseconds. Once you select a range option, you can control the exact time of the function by using the delay time knob. With the repeat knob, guitar players can control how many repeats occur after the initial note. Turning this knob all the way to the right when in echo mode will cause the repeats to go on without end. The last knob controls the level or volume of the delay tone output, and you can even select between two tone modes including Echo, a vintage low-fi sound, and Delay, a high-fidelity digital timbre.The Ibanez DE-7 pedals use standard quarter-inch instrument cables for the inputs and outputs. While there is only one input for a guitar or another instrument, there are two outputs. One is for a mono output while the other is a dry output that can be used with stereo rigs with two amps so that one line takes the direct unaffected signal. This device can be powered by either a 9V battery or an AC adapter, and Ibanez recommends using either the AC109, AC309, or AC509 power adapter because this pedal can consume up to 78 milliamps of current.An LED light on the front of the display will indicate if the pedal is functioning, and a dim light warns players of the device's low battery charge. Since the pedal can consume batteries quickly, using an AC adapter can avoid the hassle of changing batteries in the middle of a jam session or live performance. This unit has dimensions of 125mm by 75mm by 53mm and weighs up to 460 grams.The Ibanez DE7 delay pedal is a versatile accessory that's available on the market. Best pedal I own
A buddy of mine has this very same pedal and one day while we were jammin' at his house, he plugged me into it. I was blown away at the incredible fullness of sound from the echo effect and it's ability to essentially "loop" your sound into a long enough delay to actually play along with yourself. Great and versatile. The knobs are like pop up headlamps.
Let’s me emulate Dredge and Circa Survive tones, as well as mess with delay. Can’t be beat for the price, there’s better delays but this has a purpose as well. Also mine was in impeccable condition but your mileage may very. The pedal is so 1990’s the knobs pop up like headlamps in an NA Mazda Miata from the 90’s; probably a point of failure mechanically but I still love it out of nostalgia.
