Great little mower, light and easy to use
Replacing a near identical one that had plastic blades, this one is metal and cuts cleaner. The old one was well over 10 years old and still going but getting tired so time to retire it. It's light, clean cutting and no waste to get rid of as it mulches the cuttings back into the grass. If it lasts like the old one I'll be well happy. Good for a flat medium sized garden
This is only the second flymo I have owned - the previous version having been bought decades ago. The reason I bought the mower was to deal with my daughters garden which is extremely uneven and fairly large. I had hoped that the mower would glide more easily over the humps and bumps but I must admit that I have found it a struggle. The mower I know would have coped very easily on my small flat lawn. In hindsight, I have probably bought the wrong machine for my daughters garden. If I could get the mower to glide a little higher (if that is possible?) then that would make mowing a lot easier; accepting of course that the grass would be cut higher.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

You wouldn't know it had ever been used
Much better that previously owned Flymos with plastic detachable blades- avoid those, the blades come off if they touch a tiny twig and will hit and break through the side body. This has a fast spin speed, gives a good lift, so easy and light when operating. Particularly useful as I bought this to use on a steep, akward bank. The description says used, but this really doesn't seem fair! It looked absolutely pristine and brand new, so if you are considering a lightweight mower for realtively small areas, i would recommend this supplier and this mower. Good Mower and nice price
I prefer hover mowers especially if they collect the grass. My last one lasted 15 years so I have hopes for this one. These mowers now have metal blades instead of plastic ones and seem to do a fine job. I bought the 330 as it was the same price as the 300 and has a better motor. it also has a slightly longer cutting blade. The grass catcher design seems to be easy enough to empty and is quite a bit lighter than my old one. I am not sure it holds as much grass as the old one did but it really isn't an issue for me. The handle folds down for easy storage but can be a bit difficult as you have to squeeze the sides together to get them out of the slots. My old mower has a screw fitting you loosened, which I think was a bit easier. All in all a nice mower at a good price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great Little Hover Mower
Extremely pleased with this mower which is a replacement for a Flymo Sprinter E30 twin which had finally given up the ghost after 28 years of use! This mower is very lightweight and hovers well. It made light work of cutting the lawn. It comes with spacers & a spanner/cleaning tool. The only negative is that the lead is slightly shorter than our previous mower but nothing that an extension lead won't remedy.
