Great if you get a good one
Basically, a brilliant mower. 25kg in weight, low fuel consumption, not very loud, and basically a superb practical design. The trouble is, I think because it is now such an old model, it's getting harder to find a good one. I had issues with this one with too much wear at the sides of the deck underneath (so blade protruded), and then after I got a new deck, the rear roller mechanism collapsed on the right hand side. Couldn't figure out why, other than general wear and tear. But the engine was great and easy to start. But I had to sell it for spares. Got a HRB 425c QDE instead, which is much like an updated version of this one, so I figured it would have less wear and tear. It weighs 28kg, but is easy to start and still an A1 design, albeit a bit bulkier. It uses more petrol too.
