    does the job

it is plastic but it quite heavy and solid. If you hate carrying your amp and your band has a PA this does the trick. Plug your bass in. Use an XLR cable out to pa and it works well. sounds much better than plugging into a PA with a regular 1/8 guitar cable. Its not high end like some DI's and the controls are modest but then again they average 180-250 for a bass DI from your major brands. I used it a band gig and bass sounded good. If you want a lot of overdrive with your bass this doesn't have it . I own the guitar one also and use it a lot. has more overdrive and modes. you could use that for bass also if you want heavy distorted bass or a brighter sound.

    Great for the price

Same as title, good pedal, happy it takes 9 volt battery, can get kinda like an ampeg sound, missing compression and wish it had more db's/line level volume.did get a great sound when paired with my hartke bass attack pedal and got some boost. By itself its lacking a couple of things but still good if you need something decent on a budget.

  • Sturdy and easy to use with great features

I was searching for an inexpensive but capable bass guitar pedal that would enhance my sound when played through my small practice amp. I found this pedal to be very functional and precise. I normally play through a Sans Amp at my church that is very formidable to say the least, but I am happy to report that the Behringer pedal certainly met my expectations with respect to sound quality and ease of use. 9 volt battery power is sufficient for my requirements and won't drain off if you remember to unplug after play. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it.

  • Great Phaser, Fantastic Value!

I decided to purchase the Behringer VP-1 Vintage phaser after checking out all of the positive reviews. I'm very glad I did! This phaser is the best deal going for a classic stompbox. It has a "Tone" knob that slows the sweeping rate a little and also makes it more pronounced. If you're looking for a phaser this is honestly the best deal out there. It sounds great and is made well.

  • Excellent phase and so cheap but made well

Rugged construction wonderful tone no volume drop like on original ehx small stone either

  • Affordable pedal with great sound flexibility!

This pedal is an almost exacting clone of the EH Small Stone phase shifter --- it is a bit noisy when stomping on the switch but, not enough to whine about... the sounds are what is expected of a phase shifter and that being said, the price won't hurt your wallet at all -- definitely recommended! -- Mark.

  • The best ever, and for just around 25 bucks.

This is a clone of the Electro-Harmonix Small Stone...an EXACT clone... for tons cheaper. It's BIG, so be prepared to rearrange your pedal board accordingly. And no plastic here--the case is built like an armored steel tank. Soundwise? Just perfect for a phaser function, and simple. One level knob and one switch. In and out are at the TOP of this pedal, which can further screw up your board set-up, so be aware of this. But sound and tone-wise? She's a beautiful thing. Some claim a Vol drop-off when engaging, but not me at all.

  • Really good gear!

Great tone range and easy use at a great price!

  • Great Value for Classic Phaser

This is basically a more affordable small stone. Not that much cheaper considering they discontinued it but still a great value. This is a simple phaser with two tones, the top being a vibrato sound and bottom more phaser.

  • Behringer Vintage Phaser

If you are in the market for a phaser pedal, it would be tough to find better for the price. I’ve watched videos comparing this pedal with other more expensive ones, and the Behringer holds its own!!! Def worth checking out
