About this product

Product Information

You can discover what it is like to hold a world famous 1960s guitar design with the Gibson Les Paul Traditional Electric Guitar. If you are a music enthusiast, the classic Les Paul is likely near to your heart. Les was one of the original all around guitarists famous for complicated riffs, multi genre efficiency, and musical innovation. His iconic sound can be recaptured in your own studio or garage when you play with an authentic Gibson Les Paul guitar. When this model was created, Paul was interested in making an instrument that would give him the most performance to extend his licks, trills, and fretting. He worked with the powerful instrument maker Gibson to produce a style that can stand the test of time. Les' guitar is a standard, classic profile with a rich sound that can live up to Gibson's reputation for outstanding quality and durable materials. This electric guitar includes the same rosewood, mahogany, and carved maple top blends that gave the original Les Paul its distinctive look. The neck is a solid mahogany structure carved into the comfortable "D" profile for strong, sustained tone and easy handling. The fingerboard is made of smooth, sonic rosewood with pearl tabs for an attractive accent. The nut is Corian, a strong, dense material that provides the best possible vibration from the strings. Each string is set with the PLEK system developed by the guitar maker for extreme precision. Guitars made with mahogany, a vibrant wood with lots of resonance, can not only feel good and look good; they can give you a professional appearance too. The Les Paul Traditional Pro seeks to recreate the classic design and tone of the first standard Les Paul with BurstBucker pickups, mimicking the maker's original pickups. The guitar also features the renowned 1960s neck, which Les Paul fans say are some of the slimmest and smoothest necks in the world. Add a touch of color with accessories such as a guitar strap or G Force pedal, and you can create a style that is uniquely your own whether you're recording in a studio or jamming on stage. Gibson proudly makes their classical and electric guitars in the USA. Beginning in a factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and now producing in Nashville, Tennessee, this company is solidly all American. Among the famous musicians who are Gibson players are Chet Atkins, Duane Allman, Jeff Beck, Chuck Berry, Eric Clapton, Sheryl Crow, Bob Dylan, and Jimmy Page. The famous company also makes a unique tuning system that can work perfectly with its guitars regardless of body type. The G Force automatic tuners can take all the guesswork out of creating true sounds. Add other gear such as bridge cover hardware for extra polish. There can be no limit to what you can do with this guitar. Whether you are a classical guitarist, a rock star, or a country music aficionado, you can make music like a pro when you get your hands on one of these Gibson traditional electric guitars. Like its namesake, the Les Paul can do it all with great style.

  • Gibson Les Paul Model Traditional Pro II - Year Made - 2013

This is a great guitar built like the time honored Gibson Standard model. This guitar has the weight relieved body - but not chambered - so it is about a 1/2 pound lighter than a non-weight relieved Les Paul.. The guitar came with PAF style ('57 Classic) pickups that sound great as is. It has a lot of coil tapping and tone changing options including an on board pre-amp to boost the signal about +10db. I didn't need all of that, but it was there. Guitar plays great and has the American "made by Gibson" quality feel to it. It has a 50's C shaped neck, but wasn't as thick as I had thought it would be when I read the description. As it turned out, it was shaped differently than my 2016 Les Paul Standard with a 60's D shape neck but was just as comfortable and fast. The rosewood neck has medium jumbo frets that feel good and the rosewood neck is smooth and fast with a good quality feel. The Grover keystone locking tuners work well and hold the guitar in tune fairly well. All of the appointments and hardware are USA Gibson quality - so no complaints there. Overall I would say this was a great deal and I am very happy with my purchase. Thanks eBay!

  • Great guitar!

Excellent guitar for the price! Classic 57 humbuckers that can be split into single coils give you a wide range of different tones. Neck is great, plus it has locking Grover tuners on the headstock. Overall, this is a great guitar. There's a reason why Gibson Les Paul's are one of the most popular guitars ever made, and if you are a true guitar enthusiast, you will definitely appreciate this guitar.
