While the Epiphone Broadway guitar pays homage to classic jazz guitars of yesteryear like the Epiphone Emperor Regent and the Epiphone Olympic, this Epiphone archtop is right at home with the demands of contemporary rock 'n' roll as well. It is a Brazilian rosewood guitar with mother of pearl and abalone designs on the fretboard, a laminated maple body, a frequensator tailpiece, and two mini-humbucker coils, each with its own volume and tone controls. Most musicians say that an Epiphone hollow-body has a warmer, more melodic, and less metallic sound when compared to a Gibson guitar. Like every other Epiphone archtop guitar, the Broadway is a virtuoso instrument that musicians enjoy playing, whether wowing a live audience or quietly strumming in a living room. Epiphone Broadway
I can honestly say the Broadway is a worthy Jazz guitar. It reminds me of the Gibson L5-CES. The difference is it will not break the bank and it's a pressed top not carved.
