brushless 4s is almost exactly like driving nitro .... .this savage 6s is exactly like the numbers suggest .... 50% more cells from 4s to 6s equals 50% more power and top speed in comparison (vs 4s or nitro alone) .beware what batteries you intend on using for expected output and battery temperature control during stressful usage . ..for this savage , hpi recommends a lipo pack discharge rate not less than 35C yet markets batteries with a discharge rate of 50C, it is so powerful pictures cannot describe it ....it is like trying to drive a rocket on asphalt and in the dirt it shoots rocks from the tires like a weed wacker and will scalp the ground bald in the same way...it even does backflips from a dead stop jumping off the wheelie bar....I was racing full scale cars on the side of a 40mph zone and made them look incredibly slow - from the grass youtube this can be found on a dirtbike track jumping 65 ft while first a front flip then a backflip in one jump ....savagejunky is the channel I think so far the only problem ive had is a loose pinion gear set screw that wont seem to stay put my pair of venom 5000mah 50C 3s stay super cool under hard duty ...prolonged full speed through tall grass... I purchased the integy steel roll cage from ebay made for the savage-nitro version and bent the mounts outward to screw in and/or zip tie it to the bumper mounts on the truck it fit perfectly and seems to reinforce and protect very well transferring front impact to the rear bumper mount... it even fits under the plastic body the esc has only ever gotten slightly warm for me , my batteries must last 40 minutes continuously running, I have not killed them in one session so far the wheelie bar is not an option but a necessity , this truck will flip over backward seemingly on its own with the slightest touch of the throttle absolutely insane the people who built this must be mad .... bigger then my traxxas revo 1/10 was and every bit as tenacious the steel cage is a must have first priority
