Good Points: Soft warm sound, great middle range, nice finish not tireing to listen. Very well made speakers!
Well built and great looking speakers as you would expect from Monitor Audio. Solid and well rounded bass. Rear ports can be plugged to reduce and tighten bass, but have left mine out (cut frequencies below 80hz for subwoofer). Mid and treble are precise but fairly gentle, some may prefer a more forward and bright sound. I have bi amped these which does bring out the mid and high end better. They seem to like being driven quite hard and sound better at a reasonable volume. I run these with an Onkyo TX-NR 609 AV receiver which does have a fair bit of power. I have these as part of a 5.1 Monitor Audio Silver speaker set and that sounds superb.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
