Product did not work on me, cant say it bad or if its just my skin type.
First off, I am a male who has spent most of his life outside so this must be kept in consideration on the performance of this product that is designed (I would guess) for more delicate skin types. I started using as directed with no reaction from the product, I then went using each morning, still nothing, then twice a day, still nothing. An effective anti-aging product
I have used Skincueticals Retinol 1% night cream for 20 years and in my experience it is the best anti aging cream on the market. People say I look much younger than 68. Never used before- Really Works
I’m a first time Retiniol user. I buy Skinceuticals products from a spa, but thought this would be too strong for my sensitive skin. It’s not! Recommendations: 1. A little pearl-sized drop is enough-really! 2. I would put it on areas you want to slough off- not necessarily your entire face. I don’t know if this is recommended- I put it everywehre and wondered why my whole face was peeling. I been using retinol for 25 years now. It only been a little over a year since I use SkinCeutical Retinol 1.0. Strong, but I love this product. Feel like it is working. Although it's not for all skin. At first I do get redness around my neck. On the other hand my face takes it well. My neck is ok now, it was red for a couple of weeks. Over all my skin is used to it now. I really see the difference. This is strong Retinol. For beginner I would just start with once a week. Better than Pharmacy Grade Retin A
I ordered this retin A cream after reading a ton of reviews over the internet on Retin A creams on the market. Its a very small tube and costs twice as much as the pharmacy prescription but I found this cream to work better. I have been using pharmacy grade Retin A 1% and .5% for many years. After trying SkinCeuticals for the first time... I was impressed. I had better results with this cream in 1 night than using the pharmacy grade cream for a week! After my first application my entire face skin peeled off to reveal a much softer smoother skin. It looked like it really helped my deep wrinkles as well. I have tough Italian (alligator) skin. But after using the Skinceuticals Retinol 1.0 every other night for two weeks (after not using it for nearly a year), my face felt like it was sunburned. This is good. The Retinol is working. I slept with Neosporin on my face last night. My skin looks and feels great this morning. You can use the 0.5 if the 1.0 is too strong for your skin.
