Apple iPod Nano 5th Generation
The 5th Generation Nano is the best Nano iPod by far. I also have the 7th Generation Nano...If I had to choose, I would choose the 5th Generation. The 5th has a camera and external speakers...which are great extra features.

Really like 5th gen ipod nano
I'm a big runner, so I can't stand touch screens and tech on the move that causes issues. The 5th gen ipod nano has been my favorite version of the multiple iterations. Really happy with this, its my 3rd one (I keep using up the batteries). Too bad newer versions aren't as good!

probably is good for the price i paid, but the ipod should not be sell the way it is, the screen is dificult to read and the outside of this item is in a poor condition, also the music that i stored in it i listen to it because i know that is there, but i can't see what really i'm listening to.....

Non touch screen is the way to go
Old school and better than anything since. Nano 7th gen died on me headphone jack input got warped and when I tried to bore it out I lost touch screen functionality. Now I'm going back to 5th gen. And I could not be happier. Just ordered the nike jogging foot sensor to go along with it.

if you can purchase a new unit there is almost nothing better. you can listen to music w/o using earbuds, which i feel is a much better way. i have purchased used and/or refurbs in the past and its a 50/50 proposition on the quality.
