Excellent Value
Despite being comparatively ancient, this iPod does everything I need and is pretty cheap. It even has some stuff more modern iPods don't have, like FM radio (not on iPod touch or shuffle) and a video camera (not on the iPod Nano or Shuffle). An Overpriced iPod Nano
The iPod Nano is physically in very good shape; however, the device's battery does not last more than 5 hrs of continued music play. The description stated that the battery lasted 12 hrs. 2017 and the Nano 5th gen is still the best portable music device available.
The 5th gen iPod is great. Excellent for audio books, lectures and obviously music. I love to create genius play lists in itunes and simply copying the list to the ipod, which is great for road trips. Audio books are what I listen too most. Only issue is that books that are just 1 file and long tend to lag the ipod out a bit, which makes it difficult to back track and adjust the volume. Other than that, I don't know of any portable music device that outperforms this little beast. The battery life is amazing and the size and weight is small, but not too small where it's difficult for my clumsy fingers to handle. I don't use the radio much, but have tested it and it works nicely. Lot of 10! It's more like a picture of 10 and only 4 work. What a ripoff.
Ripoff. One has a completely cracked screen with a blotch. One of them does power on, but, has a black screen. No way to give commands. Three of them do not even turn on at all. One of them has a girls name etched on it. and one has pornography movies on it. When I buy these I expect them to be cleaned. God knows what could be on there that is illegal or something - and synced, I'm very disappointed. I thought they were in fair to good working order.Verified purchase: Yes

Great Ipod, but some downsides.
This Ipod works perfectly, it has great battery life, and good audio. The only downside is that the appearance is not "excellent condition," it had several small dents on the top and bottom and one larger dent on the back, as well as many moderate scratches over the surface of the Ipod. Works okay, just a little complicated for someone not tech savy
Purchased this product to use with an aftermarket radio. Having only been familiar with USB and MP3 with windows media, this was quite confusing and complicated to download the music I wanted. this one is no good
I have several of the ipod 5th gen, for the most part these are great. this one that i bought was no good from the start, the battery needs to be replaced. it was NOT BLACK it IS silver. the click-wheel need to be replaced. the glass is cracked but I knew that before buying it.Verified purchase: Yes
