A Favorite of Mine for Layering
On its own, the base notes in the Jo Malone Blue Hyacinth tend to become a bit "woody". However, layer this with Wild Bluebell, Wood Sage & Sea Salt, Basil & Neroli, or even Lotus Blossom & Water Lily, and the sweeter, more floral top and middle notes of Blue Hyacinth seem to stick around much longer. Lovely sweet floral, but a bit too soft and close to the skin for me, only lasts a couple of hours. Great for combining with other jo Malone fragrances. I was hoping for it to be stronger, because it’s quite expensive. I could use 3 oz in anout six weeks or less.
