Mostly good, but a few issues.
I've been using this product for several months. When I first began, I was buying it in the store, but at $50 a pop. these things are too expensive for the average user, especially given, it typically takes several months to know if this will regrow hair in the individual user and there's no guarantee of that, even a year or any length of time into it. Because of the length of the program, and the price involved, this basically forced someone of my income level to go hunting down discount deals online. I found several and that's the only reason I've been able to continue the program; had this only been available in retail stores, the price would definitely have kept me from continuing the program. Another caveat: you need to buy other things to supplement this product, which many don't know until they buy it and get info. later. Particularly, you must buy the hair and scalp serum as well as the shampoo and conditioner to expect the results advertised on the box. You could see how this all adds up to a lot of money over six months or longer. The good news? My hair has mostly stopped falling it just a short time using it, although a few months in, when I didn't have the products for just a few weeks, I noticed a fair amount starting to fall out again pretty quickly. Very disappointing
I was really hoping that this would somehow restore the volume and condition of my hair, even just a little, but I honestly don't see any difference whatsoever, although I've almost completed the month's worth of product. I suppose it could just be one of those things that works for some folks but not others, and I'm in the latter category. I'm quite healthy and take lots of other supplements, plus I take good care of my hair, but it's still thinning and getting duller by the day. The only product that made a difference in my hair
I was born with thin fine hair. As I've aged, it becomes thinner and finer. I have tried multiple products to thicken or "grow" my hair. Nothing made any difference that I could see or feel or recognize in any form UNTIL I tried Viviscal. My daughter used it first and she would not let up trying to get me to try it because it worked for her so finally I tried it. Was I ever surprised and pleased. I only used one pill a day for about a month. I actually noticed a couple of differences in about 3 weeks. I felt my hair like by the strand feel thicker and grow faster. Also, I had a growth taken off my scalp that had only regrown a little fuzz that has grown almost 2 inches!!!My fingernails and toenails also grew thicker and longer!! Good quality but bad aftertaste
This product came exactly as described. The expiration date was far in the future, and it seems to be helping my hair. This is the 2nd month I've ordered the product and I feel like I'm seeing a decrease in the amount of hair falling out during shampoos. I'm using the Viviscal shampoo, conditioner, and serum as recommended. However, I cannot tell if the product is actually making my hair stronger or thicker. I haven't noticed any big improvements yet. The price and quality on eBay are the best you can find anywhere. But it is fairly expensive compared to other vitamin supplements. The downside of this supplement is the fishy aftertaste. Good but different!
From a shopping network presentation of this product, I was under the impression the only difference between the women's and men's formulas was iron. That is not true. So compare labels before you try the men's formula. Being postmenopausal, I don't need the iron, but there are slightly lower amounts of other ingredients and some entirely not included in the men's formula. Make your own choice. Generally, this is a good product line, and I'm seeing hair growth and restoration after some perm and tangle issues causing hair loss. mikes hair regrowth challenge
since a month and a half of use i have noticed very fine baby hair growth at back of head outer edge of crown. hair is starting to regrow on right close to temple area. hair volume seems to be a little more healthier looking. will stick with the plan and make notes and pics of progress and will stay on it for 6 months as suggested. Sticking to it
Third month using this product. Haven't seen improvement yet but pills are easy to swallow, can take on an empty stomach and seems very natural.
