  • Whoop On Trees

Unlike the re-repaired chassis fuel leaking pull-on, this saw is sweet! I put on a 20 inch bar, cranked her right up after the first choke pull, remembering to push in the decompression button on top between the first and second pull (as with each pull other than two rapid pulls) to start. The fuel tank design is one unit and not joined at the chassis like the lesser valued saws I've had. I tried it for the first time on some sucker branches and in a matter of only a few minutes, had them whittled down. How do you say, 'Whoo-hoo!' in Swedish?

  • Strong

This big boy did years of tree pruning in about an afternoon, it's quiet good on gas and strong engine,it didn't over heat or bog down, I enjoyed using it . I had trouble with the chain tension , but I think its more that its my first chain saw also you have to make sure you beak it in (let it run ) because it stalls a lot in the beginning, after some screaming high speed revs it gets going well, I just love this saw because of it's price light weight good balance and no arm fatigue, also any questions just go on You Tube very popular brand lots of how to do videos...

  • Great Saw!

Easy starts, quick and responsive, not too heavy. After 30 years of using a McCulloch Pro Mac 605, the Husqvarna 455 Rancher is like a breath of fresh air. The compression relief makes starting easy. I really enjoy using this saw.

  • Best saw I have ever owned.

one of my first task was to cut down a dead oak tree that was over 90ft tall and had a 32" diameter trunk. was able to cut down the tree and chunk it out for splitting in under 2 hrs, The saw operated flawlessly. when doing a big job you want the right tools and this saw fits the bill, I absolutely love this saw and would recommend to every one.

  • Chopper

My wife and I are building a cordwood home. I talked my brother in law and sister into buying this model 3yrs ago. I cleared over 15 acres of cedar and shrub oak with it. Replaced one chain. I'm looking forward to building our cordwood house using my new one.

  • So far, so good.

Starts easily, runs well. Not a pro series saw, but still plenty of power.

  • Tons of power

I bough the 455 rancher with 20" bar/chain. I used it about 3 times so far and have gone through 3 tanks of fuel. For years i have been cheap and bought home-lite brand and other junk saws and what a mistake that was. this saw has TONS more power than all of those cheap saws put together. It has some awesome useful features. Very easy to start, clean, operate. the construction of the saw is very solid and feel so much more professional than the other cheapies. used it to chunk up some real big trees i had taken down and it hasn't missed a beat. My only compliant is i didn't buy this saw sooner. A+ piece of equipment to have around the house

  • Easy start and light

After using a 40 year old Homlite for last 20 years this saw is a dream. Probably should have changed a long time ago. Easy start and 1/2 the weight.
