Stihl 034AV
This is one of the best chainsaws Stihl has ever built, the first one I bought (in 1986) I ran for 10 years (seasonally , firewood) . I broke the starter rope, and completely wore out the first bar (along with several chains). At that point I was without a working saw (temporarily) until I got parts and repaired it. I then purchased two new Stihls an 046 and a 036 PRO. I repaired the 034AV and sold it to a neighbor (for the cost of the repairs). The last I knew a few months back (2017) the saw is still running and they are still using it!!!!!!! I wish I still had it......... Runs, starts, and cuts with serious power. I installed a 25" bar on it and have been working on a 36" diameter Oak tree. Taking the saw out this very morning to work on the tree.
