This is my second bottle of Charlie in the past couple months. First I tried Charlie Red Eau Fraiche, and LOVED it, then for my second bottle, I decided to give Charlie Gold a try, and omgoshhhhh it's just as beautiful as the Red Eau Fraiche, but more of an feminine n sexy quality. I am always so amazed how long this brand has endured. Each time I reach for it, it seems to evoke such nostalgia. And just in that moment, it just takes me back to a time of innocence, where everything was fresh, young and new.... There is simply no fragrance like it, it has and will always have, a truly special and unique footprint in the fragrance world, that will never be touched. Wonderful Fragrance
I was pleasantly surprised to find out how much I like this fragrance. I bought a large bottle at a very reasonable price. Judging by the notes, I expected Charlie Gold to be a predominately caramel type scent. Instead, it’s a lovely mixture of floral, fruity, sweet (but not cloying) and spicy. I also get some musk. I’m not a big fan of musk. Thankfully, it’s not overpowering and blends well with the other notes. I’m very pleased with my purchase. Shipping and delivery was fast. Warm, rich, long lasting.
Top note was woodsy, middle vanilla and brown sugar mixed with some light florals, die down is woodsy, amber, and slightly sweet. It works well with my body chemistry and is long lasting. I could smell it on my clothes the day after I wore it. It’s a warm scent that would probably be best for evening but I wear it when it suits me.

This perfume is magnificent. It is inexpensive but smells very exqusite. It smells like Tresure by Lancome, apricot, peach and freesia shine through. I'm not a fan of the original Charlie but Gold smells wonderful! The scent lasts for hours and has a great sillage. I can't believe I got this for less than 5 dollars and the bottle is HUGE.
