He-man still has the Power
I grew up with the Filmation He-man cartoon series. It was good at the time for a kid but this series is very well done. The stories are more complex and engaging. The animation quality is top notch compared to the Filmation series. This series also upholds and expands the MOTU 40 year old mythology. Some episodes are written by the original series writers. I am a fan of these types of shows and I can honestly say that while the 1980's He-Man cartoon was kind of cheesy,this show does more in depth coverage of each characters back stories and tells a cohesive and we'll developed story overall.
