Great Filter, Poorly Designed/Included Accessorials
The filter medium is superior quality than the Toyota OEM filter. The included plastic "spigot" to drain the oil from the canister before removing it from the base is poorly engineered, can not be inserted into the check valve of the canister, and therefore does not work to release the oil. Consequently unscrewing the canister while still full of spent oil identical to removal of a standard spin-on filter, and its associated oily mess. The Fram designed oil filter for this application includes a screw-in spigot that does an exceptional job of draining the oil from the canister, however the filter medium they use is substandard and probably of poorer quality than the Toyota OEM.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
